Learn more on how to troubleshoot common problems with FlytBase-supported Docking Stations. Issues specific to Docking Stations can usually be resolved by:
Keeping the firmware on your docking station up to date. Most errors are caused by incorrect firmware versions. Please contact your Docking Station manufacturer to learn more.
FlytBase offers Diagnostic messages for common issues faced by Drone Docks This helps the user understand the reason for common warnings and errors and is a great tool for debugging. Diagnostic messages regarding any issues faced by the docking station will be sent to the dashboard, helping the user understand the reason why any Docking Station routines are failing. Diagnostics tab displays warning and error messages along with possible solutions
My station is registered on the dashboard but I can not see it in the list of registered devices
Try clearing your browser cache (ctrl+shift+r) and wait for some time (30s).
If the above does not help, restart the Docking Station and re-register it on FlytBase.
If this does not help, please write to the team at support@flytbase.com.
The Docking Station is offline in the FlytBase dashboard
FlytBase Docking Station Utility Window
Ensure that the docking station is powered up and has an active internet connection.
Try clearing your browser cache (ctrl+shift+r) and wait for some time (30s).
Check if the Docking Station Processing Unit is offline in the Utility Window. This will help square in on network issues and confirm if the Docking Station Processing Unit is not receiving a heartbeat from the Docking Station Controller.
Ensure the device running the FlytBase dashboard has an active internet connection.
Power cycle the docking station.

The docking station is online, but the Drone and RC statuses are not visible, and the Docking Station routines are greyed out
Docking Station Utility Window
Ensure that the Drone and RC are powered on.
Ensure that the Drone is linked to the Docking station.
If that does not work, then try to delink and link the Drone and Docking Station again.
The pre_takeoff routine fails, resulting in a mission execution failure
Give the Diagnostics tab a try to see if there are any strange warnings with respect to the Docking Station. If yes, please contact your Docking Station manufacturer to diagnose this further.
Restart your Docking Station and try executing the mission/routine again.
If that does not work, then follow the Docking Station specific troubleshooting steps:
At times, during the pre_take off routine, the Drone and RC are powered on as expected and the docking station enclosure opens. However, the station fails to get into ready mode due to drone GPS check failure. To solve this, ensure that the drone has acquired the minimum number of GPS satellite count (7 as per DJI).
If the GPS checks still fail, move away from any metal objects or relocate your station to a new location to prevent interference.
Ensure that the Docking Station Status in the Utility window is Ready for takeoff. If not, run the post_ land routine once to get the station into Ready for takeoff status and then try executing the mission again.
If this does not help, please write to the team at support@flytbase.com
Prime routine fails to cause a failure in executing a Mission
Give the Diagnostics tab a try to see if there are any strange warnings with respect to the Docking Station.
Restart your Docking Station and try executing the mission again.
If that does not work, then follow the Docking Station specific troubleshooting steps:
Pre_take off routine fails to cause a failure in executing a Mission
Ensure that the Drone and Docking station is online in the FlytBase dashboard.
Restart your Docking Station and try executing the routine again.
If that does not work, then follow the Docking Station specific troubleshooting steps:
Try powering on the Drone and RC manually from the Docking Station Utility window and open the enclosure. If all the above work, try executing the routine again.
If this does not help, please write to the team at support@flytbase.com
How do I re-bind the drone with my docking station?
The Docking Station Bind mode is used to re-bind the remote controller with the drone.
Power on the docking station.
Power on the Drone and RC from the Docking Station Utility window on the FlytBase dashboard.
Go to FlytBase settings, select the drone from the top left, navigate to drone control, and click on bind. This will trigger the binding process.
Please ensure that your Docking Station is linked to the drone before binding the drone. Learn more about linking your drone here.
I am getting hardware-related warnings and errors in the utility window
Go to the diagnostic tab and see the root cause of the error and possible solutions. Please contact your Docking Station manufacturer to diagnose this further.
